Our Angus and Hereford crosses produce beef known for exceptional flavor, tenderness, and marbling. The herd grazes on lush pasture through spring and fall, then enjoys high-quality hay and protein-rich grains through winter—resulting in consistently rich, naturally flavorful beef.

Poultry
Our pasture-raised chickens are rotated on fresh grass from May through October and supplemented with wholesome grains. This natural diet creates tender, flavorful meat that’s rich in Vitamin A and Omega-3s. All birds are processed on-farm without the use of chlorine baths, dyes, or preservatives.

We also carry chicken feet, and in the fall, be sure to call ahead to reserve your Thanksgiving turkey—a seasonal favorite. Pork
Our pork is raised from piglet to finish in spacious hoop houses that provide fresh air, sunshine, and deep bedding for natural rooting behavior. Fed a daily ration of premium grains, hay, and plant clippings, our Yorkshirt, Duroc, and Berkshire breeds produce pork that’s lean, juicy, and full of deep distinctive flavor.

Cheese
Crafted in small batches, our homestead cheese is made using Robie Farm raw milk from our Normande cows. The raw milk is poured into vats and carefully processed in our cheese room. Cheese wheels are formed and then soaked in a sea-salt brine, which gives the cheese just the right amount of salt and creates a protective rind. After brining, the wheels are placed on ash-wood racks in our cheese cave, where they age anywhere from 2-24 months. During aging, enzymes and cultures work their magic, slowly transforming the cheese and developing the rich, complex flavors that make our farmstead cheese so special.

1. gruyere (aged 12-18 months)
A classic Swiss-style alpine cheese, excellent as a table cheese or in recipes.
2. Piermont (aged 2-3 months)
Named after the small village where it’s made, Piermont is a delicate yet tangy semi-soft cheese with pleasing undertones.
3. smoked toma (aged 3-5 months)
An artisan’s smoked cheese that bucks tradition. Lightly hickory smoked to accent its unique nutty flavor.
4. Toma (aged 3-5 months)
A traditional Italian Alpine-style table cheese, Toma has an elastic body and a confident yet gently nuttiness.
Raw Milk
At Robie Farm, our raw milk comes directly from the udder of our carefully managed Normande and Jersey cows and is not pasteurized or homogenized. Jersey cows produce more milk per pound of body weight and their milk is naturally high in butterfat, while Normande cows contribute to the ideal balance of flavor and richness. This careful herd mix allows us to produce the highest-quality, GMO-free milk and cream.
You can purchase our raw milk and cream in person at the Robie Farm Store, with milk available in gallons and ½ gallons and cream in ½ gallon.
